United Chapter 3

Three weeks! Its in credible all the trouble I had getting all the papers and everything else in order so they'd allow me to enter China. I heard on the news that they had found 6 survivors, 5 male and a female but very little else. They're weren't giving out much information almost as if they were trying to hide something.

"Sussy darling, we're here are you okay? I looked up startled out of my meditative state. Mrs Chi still though I was nuts but was kinda enough to join me on the trip to China. Mr Chi had stayed behind to finish up the loose end of the project so I could travel straight to Korea after I found my sister. He'd manage to find out what hospital the survivors were at but said that it would be impossible for me to get in. Ha! He doesn't know me that well then, I'll get in one way or another.

"Yeah, Mrs. Chi, just thinking. That flight was really long. Im ready to check into our room and take a nap."

"Remember, I'm not Mrs Chi here, you're my daughter and we must act like it if we're going to get into that hospital they're not letting American near there, too many people are trying to get int to look at the American girl who survived, so until we're inside we can't let them know who are."

"I know 'mama'" I said with a smile. "Let's get going, I wonder how hard it is to get a cab here?"

-------------NEXT DAY @ THE HOSPITAL ENTRANCE-----------------------------

[MRS CHI] Nurse?
{NURSE} Yes madam, May I help you?
[MRS CHI] Yes, I'm looking for the hospital administrator, is he available?
{NURSE} I don't know madam, did you have an appointment?
[MRS CHI] No, I didn't but I must speak to him about treatment for my daughter

Mrs Chi glanced at me... I just kept staring off into space holding a pink bunny in my arms. Pretending not to understand what's going on. Which honestly I didn't, i mean I knew the plan get to the ADMIN by pretend she had a "special" child who need treatment was willing to pay big buck, once we got to the administrator we'd get the info we need out of him... hopefully in a nice way, if not.....oh well shit happens.

{NURSE} "Let me see if he's available. Please take a seat." Giving me a wary look and walked off.

"Baka Vaca" I muttered under my breath. Mrs Chi giggled at my mix of languages, the first word I'd learn in Japanese was Baka "stupid" which sounded a lot like vaca "cow in Spanish" - Stupid cow

"Behave or we'll get caught" she spoke softly to me. I nodded and looked through my bang so people wouldn't realize I was watching. It was incredible the amount of security they had guards every where...what did they have an emperor in here or something?

I noticed the nurse walking back so I slouched further into my seat.

{NURSE} Madam, unfortunately the administrator Joong Moon will not be able to see you today; he asked that you return tomorrow morning around 9 am so that he may attend to your request.

[MRS CHI] very well, Thank you, and please send my regards to Administrator Moon, I look forward to meeting with him.

She got up and pulled my arm and we walked out of the hospital, a few blocks down I swept my hair up off my face into a pony tail and placed the doll into Mrs Chi bag.

"That's aggravating we've come this far and I have to wait another day?! Why can't I just demand they let me see her? I mean I have her paper birth certificate and photos of use together?"

"They're hiding something and don't want anybody to know, so until we've got them in our hand we must remain calm or they cause trouble for us remember we aren't the US any more and here we have no rights."

"I still don't like it and all the security, I don't know it feels like they were up to something, but I guess we'll have to wait. Let's get something to eat Im starving and I'd like to get a something for my other mami."

"Alright let's go then"
